In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of top navigation and maps applications in Germany, as tracked by Sensor Tower, showcased interesting trends across downloads, revenue, and active users metrics on a unified platform.

Google Maps consistently led in downloads with figures peaking at around 98.8K in mid-August. The app maintained robust weekly active users, starting at approximately 10.9M and ending with a slight increase to 10.8M by the end of September.

Blitzer.de from Eifrig Media saw a steady revenue stream, peaking at $124K mid-July. Downloads showed a gentle decline from 36.3K to 34.4K over the quarter, while weekly active users saw a noticeable rise, concluding the quarter at about 314.9K.

Google Earth had stable download numbers, fluctuating around the 31K mark, while active users showed a minor decline, ending the quarter with approximately 298.2K.
